About the Project

Clean lines and strong geometry set the rhythm of this San Antonio home, but it’s the materials that give it warmth. Rich wood, natural stone, textured masonry and expressive art soften the architecture without taking away from its modern point of view.

Encore stone appears throughout the project in two very different ways: honed Taj Mahal brings a quiet, tonal movement to the lighter spaces, while honed Titanium Granite creates a darker, more dramatic counterpoint.

Together, they show how natural stone can add character without asking a modern interior to become anything other than itself.

Not every room needs the same energy. The soft movement and warm neutrals of Taj Mahal feel right at home beside natural wood, while the deeper tones of Titanium Granite give the entertaining spaces a little more drama.

The materials change, but the point of view doesn’t. That’s what makes a home feel collected rather than coordinated.
